STORM WATCH

As of 5:00 pm, Monday, December 23nd:

CERTAIN AREAS OF RICHMOND HILL CONTINUE TO
BE WITHOUT POWER.  THIS COULD LAST FOR ANOTHER
24 TO 48 HOURS BEFORE IT IS RESTORED.

The daycare centre established power this morning BUT has had sporadic power outages this afternoon. We are currently open for emergency care only.  This is for families that must be at work. Should the power cut out again, the centre will have to close and children will be sent home. According to York Region Public Health, we must have heat and electricity in order to operate the facility.

For Christmas Eve day, December 24th, the centre will only be open from 7 am to 12 noon SHARP. Should the centre experience more power outages today,  it will be decided in the morning if the centre will open at all for the few hours.  If you are able, please keep your child at home.

The trees on Crosby Avenue are heavy and leaning on the hydro wires.  Please try to refrain from using this Avenue to enter to the centre.  We are concerned for your safety as well as you child's.

THE DAYCARE is experiencing POWER OUTAGES and
is OPEN for EMERGENCY CARE ONLY!
