School Age Room

The School Age Program is licensed for 27 children with three wonderful teachers.  Ms. Nerissa, who is also the Assistant Director, Mrs. Diana and Mrs. Carmen.   This program is open for children aged 6 to 12 years in need of before and after school care as well as PA days and snow days. 

In order to suit the needs of our families, we have our school age program accomodate children's homework needs:

1)  Playroom - This room holds up to 27 children at one time.  During their time here the children are permitted to use the computers, play games, do craft projects, or just hang out with their friends.

2)  Homework - In the playroom, the teachers will encourage the children to do as much homework as is directed by the parent.  This may include quiet reading, math, projects or worksheets.  Although the homework is being done in the classroom, the children are able to focus and accomplish their tasks.

On PA days or snow days, children are encouraged to bring any outstanding projects or work they may have and dedicate some of their time to completing their tasks.   The teachers are very knowledgable and are able to assist the children if a difficulty arises.
