Programs and Fees
Genesis Community Daycare
Centre offers
full-time and part-time care based on a 12 month period each year, available
between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The Centre has facilities to accommodate the
following groups of children:
In addition to the
programs listed above, the following programs are now also available:
- Emergency Daycare - Availability dependent upon
daycare space. Please contact the centre.
- Summer Camp - Begins at the end of the
school year and runs until the end of August. Theme weeks are created to stimulate and motivate the
children. Themes vary week to week so children may attend as often as you
like. Parents outside
of the Centre may register their child(ren) for any length of time. Register early to avoid
disappointment.
- P.A. Days/March Break - Genesis Community Daycare
Centre plans trips to various children's educational centres
in York Region and Toronto such as the Royal Ontario Museum, Kortright
Centre for Conservation, and Puck's Farm. This program is open to
families not registered with the Daycare as long as space permits.
- Specialized Services - Genesis Community Daycare
Centre is an integrated Centre for children with special needs. In addition
to participating in the daily routine, individual programs for
developmentally or physically handicapped children are conducted by a
qualified resource teacher.
Fees
Fees are due on the
first day of each month, paid in advance, and are based on the number of days the child is
enrolled in the program, including absent/sick days and statutory holidays. All
fees are reviewed by the Board of Directors periodically and are therefore
subject to increase periodically. Childcare fees are tax deductible and a yearly receipt is
issued for income tax purposes. Contact the centre for current fee schedules.
The Centre is open each
day from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pick-up of children after 6:00
p.m. will
result in a late fee of $1.00 per minute, payable immediately to the staff on
duty with the child.
