Fragrance Free

We are a 'Fragrance Free' Facility

As of September 7th, 2010, Genesis Community Daycare Centre became a fragrance free facility.  This is due to certain scents being worn by our parents, children and visitors that are causing adverse reactions to those in the centre.  This allergy is considered anaphlyactic and life threatening.  We take it very seriously.

The policy is as follows:

1)  If you arrive wearing a scent, you will not be permitted into the daycare centre,

2)  You will need to ring the doorbell and someone will collect your child from you.  This will serve as your warning!

3)  If you arrive to the centre wearing a scent for a SECOND TIME, your childcare will be TERMINATED immediately.

4)  This is very serious.  Someone's life is in danger and we are very serious about the consequences you may face for non-compliance of this poilcy. 

5)  This allergy is as real as the peanut/tree nut allergy and follows our 'Anaphlyactic Policy.'  You will receive one warning and one warning only.

This policy will be strictly followed without argument.  Should a staff smell any scent on you or your child while in the centre, you will be asked to leave immediately.  This will be done without prejudice or argument.

NOTE:  Air fresheners used within the centre are non-anaphylactic agents.  They are used at the discretion of Genesis and will change should their effects become problematic.
